The training portion isn't a deduction. It's a credit that pays for your next certifications: courses you'd otherwise pay for out of pocket. Each certification raises your rate and your cash share, until you're earning it all in cash. And when you apply, you decide how much you want in cash and how much in training. (Rates, splits and home-visit surcharge per the FW co.co.co. contract.)
